I started my career as a designer when print was still the main medium. Since then the work has moved to web, software, interactions and experiences, and I've moved with it. For years, then decades, a 9-to-5 kept me too busy to stop.

Then, a couple of years ago, my body gave out. I took a deep breath and listened to myself. What I heard was simple: I'm working for myself now, and I only want to do what I love. I want to feel alive, feel emotions, feel human. I want to celebrate my life.

That's what Kismo Studio is. I design cards, jewelry and keepsakes with life's big moments in mind: graduations, new beginnings, birthdays, and the days that don't have a name but still deserve to be marked. I'm so happy when something I made becomes part of that moment, and I hope it makes it a little more special, or brings a smile to someone's face.

Meet Hana 

Kismo is named after my dog, Hana. She's happy all the time and brings happiness to everyone she meets. She's also a kiss monster. Kis-Mo. Get it?

I hope Kismo Studio brings happiness to everyone who touches it. Hana is our Chief Happiness Officer, and she makes sure every Kismo touchpoint meets her happiness standard.

My creative path never ends. I stay curious and follow it wherever it goes.
